What We Need

Since the advent of the Internet most Americans rarely consult paper copies of encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries or other primary source materials. Rather than have these books continue to collect dust why not send them to a school in Ethiopia where they can truly make a difference in a child's education? We also welcome children's story-books and age-appropriate novels.

It is estimated that it will cost $4.00 a pound to ship books by mail or 40 cents by container ship to Ethiopia. Therefore, monetary donations will be greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of shipping and warehousing. All donations, whether in money or materials, are fully tax deductible to the extent specified by law.

When you make a donation in Honor of or in Memory of a loved one we will send a beautiful card to the family telling them of your generous gift. We never disclose the amount of the gift unless you expressly request that we include that information. Ordinarily we simply inform them that a generous donation was made in their loved ones name or in honor of the person you designated.
